3 Facts About Me:

I prefer story oriented tv series than sitcoms. I haven’t finish any comedy tv series ever in my life.

✒ As a coffee drinker, I really want to get into teas so much. I love black teas and fruit teas so far and I’m not a fan of flower flavored teas. What’s your favorite teas?

✒ My least favorite genre is crime/murder not because I can’t take the gruesome deaths (believe me I’ve seen most gory movies out there) but I feel like it’s procedural that ends up the same. Maybe the fun part is the chase and investigations? Well, not so much for me.

My Answers:

1) What is your favorite thing about blogging?

As a sole avid reader in my family, I met people that read the same books as me through blogging. I love talking about books and I am really thankful I discovered this community. Follow me on twitter and instagram @//booksandcali. Let’s talk about the books that we love.

2) Who are your top five favorite literary characters of all time?

✺ Klaus Baudelaire from A Series of Unfortunate Events

I’ll go sentimental about this. A series of unfortunate events books were my first ever reads in my life. I really love Klaus because I aspire to be like him for so long. I mean come on, a reader who remembers everything??? I don’t even remember the thing I ate for breakfast. Klaus is so unfair (but I love him).

Percy Jackson

I’ll give credit when it’s due. Percy is the most unproblematic main character ever. He’s just so ideal and powerful, almost perfect even. It is Rick Riordan’s fault for making Percy and the Greek gang so perfect, giving me the hardest time to equally love their Roman buddies.

I have a major crush on Logan Lerman since 2010 sorry about that. There are only two men for me: Logan Lerman and Dev Patel lol

Scout and Jeremy Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird

If ever I’ll have a daughter, I wish she’ll be as perceptive and smart as Scout. In addition, as someone who only has a sister, I really want a big brother in my life and can it be Jeremy? I haven’t read Go set A watchmen tho but I am hearing some ugly things about it.

Goddess Artemis

I really love that she’s depicted to be a strong and independent woman. She’s an adventurer and a maiden who does not need a man to complete her and that is very empowering. Also, she is a protector of women and young men. I just love the principles she lives by.

Lyra Belacqua from His Dark Materials

I love her period. Read the books and watch the show.

I have not watch the show but she is being played by Dafne Keen! Have you seen Logan? She’s amazing.

3) What three books would you bring with you to a deserted island?

Truthfully, I just don’t want to be stranded on an island with only three books. I don’t like the ocean. I have thalassophobia. IT’S A NIGHTMARE. A FREAKING PUNISHMENT. A BIG NO.

4) What is your most favorite book series in the world? Why?

One of my favorite book series would be His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. This one is very special to me. I started blogging and I also made book twitter & bookstagram because of it. Crazy that it is supposed to be a children/young adult series. CRAZY! Have you read the ending?? How dare you, Mr. Philip Pullman, to pull something like that. It hurts.

5) If you couldn’t blog about books, what would you write posts about?

Honestly, it’s going to be like essays or my general thoughts about what’s happening to us and the society. I want to talk about human rights, woman empowerment, being an ally to those people who need it.

I rarely post something like that. I need to do it more. I do talk about those things on twitter tho. Twitter is like my outlet.

AND IT’S A WRAP. Thank you so much Liza for this wonderful questions. I enjoyed answering all of them. I feel like this challenge/tagging train is already over so I will not tag bloggers anymore. If you reach this part, thank you so much for reading.

Seriously, am I the only one suffering from Thalassophobia?

  1. I had so much fun reading your answers! Also, I don’t have thalassophobia because I grew up right on the ocean, but I totally get it? Like, we know so little about the ocean… it’s super freaky when you stop to think about it. 😱

    1. Thank you, Liza. I will try my best to be on time next time lol

if you think about it, to grow up by the ocean is actually quite nice. I mean there are a lot of available water related activities. I have never lived near any bodies of water (except swimming pool and some shallow river lol) so I am not used to it.
